Silly List Slogs: My Top 300 Albums Of All Time (3rd Edition)

Dang! It's is my third annual run through my 300 most favorite albums ever! This here blog has existed for a minute, I guess. While this update is not that different from the list that went up in April '23, there were some changes.

  • I've added seven albums that were "new to me." Them's the ones with the asterisks.
  • Bo Diddley's Got My Own Bag Of Tricks and Devo's Greatest Hits were replaced by Bo Diddley's His Best and Devo's Hot Potatoes: The Best Of Devo. His Best is in print, and maybe a little better than Tricks. I wound up buying Hot Potatoes over Greatest Hits because it has "The Day My Baby Gave Me A Surprize," even though it's slightly bloated compared to Hits.
  • As hinted in How I Like The Beatles: The Albums, I finally accepted that any LP with both "PS I Love You" and "A Taste Of Honey" on the B side isn't a 10/10, let alone the 2nd best album ever. Still made the Top 50, though!
